Predominantly photographic/journalistic overview of Wichita history and persona with far more italicized caption than text narrative.  Subsidized by Mid Kansa Federal Savings & Loan.  Oversize hardback.  184 pp. Out of print.

Black and white photographs heavily captioned.  Final chapter in color dedicated to a generalized economic overview of the century.  Greater emphasis on recent history than in other publications.  Oversize hardback.  272 pp.  Out of print.

Provides a comprehensive, well-illustrated, carefully referenced overview of Wichitawithin the broader panoply of U.S. history.  Oversize hardback. 230 pp.

Set in the broader context of westward expansion; detailed and well-referenced examples from Kansas history to support each contention.

An important source of accurate information regarding early Wichita history.  201 pp.
