Description: Looking southeast at the Forum on Water Street between William and English. The entire building developed in stages over the years. The first section, on the south end officially opened in 1911. The Exposition Hall and Arcadia Theater on the north end were completed by 1918. At the time it was built, other proposed names for the facility included Hippodrome, Wigwam, and Wichitorium. The Forum hosted a range of public events from Pavlova and Paderewski to circuses and auto shows. It was demolished in 1965 to make way for the Century II Convention Center.

He performed through out the Mid-West for many years, published music and was the proprietor of The Shadowlands Dance Club (later called the Mambo Club).

Garlands and cascades of paper flowers hang lavishly from the ceiling; potted plants and floral arrangements have transformed the otherwise plain arena into a festive site. Silhouettes of white [live?] birds appear in motion, flying in a circular direction around the room from right to left.

Description: Looking northeast from intersection of Broadway and First Street. The Orpheum Theatre opened in 1922 featuring vaudeville acts and a silent film. In 1929 it began a tradition as a premier motion picture palace that ended in 1976. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Theatres. Another business in view is Dr. C. M. Cole, Dentist, in the Orpheum Building, and Mosbacher Hudson Terraplane Sales and Service at 214 North Broadway.

This view includes the Orpheum Pharmacy, Smith, Stone and Snyder Insurance, 204 North Broadway, Van Arsdale and Larkin Insurance, 206 North Broadway, Orpheum Beauty Shop, 212 North Broadway, and Mosbacher Motor Company, 214 North Broadway.
