Owner JS “Rajah” Porter promoted his business as an investment opportunity to Wichitans, promising to buy back offspring of the rabbits he sold. Within the next year he suddenly left town and many local people lost money in the scheme. This photograph was published in the Wichita Beacon, November 10, 1929.

Other businesses in view include the Miller Theatre (115 North Lawrence), Schnoor Chocolate Company (115 North Lawrence), Miller Recreation/Billiards (3rd floor, Miller Theatre Building), Puls Music Company (220 East Douglas).
