Trees and houses in center ground are located on land that was originally part of the Henry Schweiter farm. Lincoln Avenue rises in far left background to cross over U.S. Interstate Highway 135. In Wichita the highway follows a canal that originally was Chisholm Creek. The creek flowed through the Schweiter property.
