In 1929 it began a tradition as a premier motion picture palace that ended in 1976. The building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Theatres. Another business in view is Dr. C. M. Cole, Dentist, in the Orpheum Building, and Mosbacher Hudson Terraplane Sales and Service at 214 North Broadway.
