Description: This monument was dedicated to the Union soldiers and sailors who fought and died in the Civil War. It was designed by Ernest Monroe Viquesney of Marietta, Georgia and dedicated June 14, 1913. It is on the south side of the old Sedgwick County Courthouse lawn facing Central.(Northeast corner of Main and Central.) This monument is on the National Register of Historic Places.
