Description: Miss Jo Anne Connell, telephone information operator of the Rapid Transit Lines in Wichita, Kansas, checks a corner bus schedule as Dreamline Operator Jerry Sudduth makes the change at Topeka and Douglas with the temperature 12 below zero following a recent snowstorm that dumped 17 inches of snow on Wichita. With changes in transit schedules becoming effective it has been necessary for Rapid Transit to change the posted schedules at all of the 1,400 corners where schedules are posted over that particular weekend regardless of the weather so that riders would be able to check the arrival times on Monday morning. Miss Connell gives out most of the telephone information regarding routes and schedules. (Caption from photograph.)
