Locate the Student

Assignment: Students will use their analytical and
research skills to select a topic and accompanying photographs,
search the Tihen Notes for documentation of the subject, and write
a summary statement.
Hint:
In the written summary, remind the students to draw a
conclusion from their observations and their research.
Information in the metadata may be used, but they should
not just copy the entire description found there.
Inform students of your expectations according to key points
in the scoring rubric.
Students at Personal Computers:
Instruct students to locate the Student
Assignment on their personal computers and proceed with
Step 3.
No Internet access:
Distribute printed copies of any pre-selected photographs
and metadata.
Photocopies of a printed download may not show as many
details as image on screen.
